| The spherical surface makes itself
known in a variety of places. One senses a gentle R in different
parts of this watch; the dial, the glass, the hands and the
band. Owing to the curved nature of the glass comprising both
sides, the dial can easily be seen even when viewed from an
angle. The legibility of the watch face has been increased
with the curved dial and the hands which are bent to follow
this curvature. The print thickness of the hour scale has
been increased by five times the norm, so as to set it apart
from the minute scale; the color of the hour and the minute
scales differs slightly, so that the hour scale stands out.
By adjusting such elements as the scales and the roundness
of the hand points, any visual snags are erased. |
